TEAK SEALER & PROTECTOR

Maintain your new or freshly cleaned teak for months at a time, reducing your maintenance time with this water-based, polymer infused liquid that when applied to new or freshly cleaned/restored teak penetrates the grain and forms a long lasting, sub-barrier. This helps to slow oxidation (‘graying”) and prevents deep-grain soiling (soot, airborne pollutants, food, beverage and lotion spills).

The sealer does not affect the natural non-slip properties of teak, and the wood surface will not get sticky and track dirt and residue. This innovative formula helps to prevent mold on new teak and is safe for the environment.

Note: Do not attempt to apply Teak Sealer & Protector over previously oiled or coated decks. Sanding and then cleaning with ECO-100 and/or ECO-300 may be necessary to properly prepare the teak. Always test on a small area first! Please call Teakdecking Systems with any questions.

After application of Teak Sealer & Protector, teak can be easily cleaned with a mild boat soap or neutral pH cleaner such as a mild dish soap.
